One of my favorite couples are engaged and I had the honor of photographing them! They danced, they laughed, they kissed, and we chased the sun. I am so glad we were able to incorporate things that are important to them as a couple. Clayton is a pilot and so it was special to be able to capture his airplane in their engagement photos. Also, how fun is a private hanger?!?! Finally, we ended up in downtown at his families place of business and a place special to them both. Clayton and Courtney both have personalities that make you never want to say goodbye. Can't wait to spend their special day with them as they dance, laugh, and kiss all over again in October! Love you guys! Enjoy!

In one month these two will become husband and wife. I was so happy to get to photograph them a second time with a new location and new outfits. Easily one of my most easy going couples, Jeff and Chellsey have put complete trust in me to photograph their love for one another. Enjoy this beautiful session!

Yes, I am a bit behind in blogging and I am playing a little bit of catch up. I couldn't miss out on blogging part 2 of this beautiful California coastal wedding. (The link to Part One is below in case you missed it.) The rain came down and didn't let up on us; however, I am not sure anyone even noticed the rain. Joseph and Sarah said "I do" and their family and friends celebrated, while sprinkling them with lavender buds as they ran down the aisle. The rest of the night was a scene of hugs, laughter, and dancing as everyone joined together in celebration under a white tent, pitched just feet from the big Pacific Ocean.
Part One of their story

One week ago we were on the beautiful California central coast, celebrating the union between Joseph and Sarah. It was only natural to feel nervous about meeting a couple for the first time on the day you are photographing them getting married; however, as soon as we met we felt as though we were hanging out with some lifelong friends. It will be hard to not sound cliche while describing Joseph and Sarah's wedding day because it truly felt like it was out of a story book. The ceremony was set on the beach with the famous Morro Rock right behind them. The seagulls sang, the waves crashed, and sand crunched beneath our toes. It was a perfect setting with the perfect couple sharing their love for one another with some of their closest friends and family. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Harriger for sharing such an important time of your lives with us. Enjoy!
(Stay tuned for Part Two coming soon!)

Jeff and Chellsey, we couldn't be more excited to photograph your special day in May. (see what I did there?) These two met me during one my visits to Bakersfield in the dried riverbed for a quick practice session. Our plans changed due to some weather and even though we decided to reschedule their engagement session, I still wanted to meet them and do a quick session. They danced, they skipped, they twirled, and they laughed through it all. Enjoy!
